Thank you for sharing your thoughts. The order of things don't matter whether you put it in prayer/family forum. What matter is you're being transparent for all of us to know what's in your thoughts and what to pray for you. That' you let us in your life to be part of it and trust us that we can help and support you. That you also would like your relationship to your husband as a reflection of your relationship to God. May God not only made you felt better but be the wife that God chose you to be for your husband. Perfect imperfections are loved by God and May God moved the heart of your husband to love yours as well (vice versa). Isaiah 55:8 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways, my ways," declares the LORD. I pray this in Jesus name, Amen. (These are in my thoughts as well. :) - just like to share it with you, Fenner. :)

Thank you so much Jer29111, that was what I needed to read, it's been a rough few weeks. I've been carrying a burden by myself. It's not easy for me to open up about how I'm feeling, it's never been.

I know you primarily wanted to vent, but some advice:
do a "date night" as a regular thing. Alternate between something dressy and something fun - - race go-karts or do putt-putt golf on one date, then a ballroom dance lesson the next. And kids and work are taboo conversation topics.

woo hoo! My son, in less than 48 hrs, has sold almost $500 in Cub Scout popcorn! The form is due Tuesday. I can only imagine how he would have done if he had started 6 weeks ago when he'd gotten the sales stuff.

I think that he's in the early stages of getting braces is in his favor... the pallet expander makes him talk all funny-cute. Also in his favor, he wore a good looking shirt & nice jeans all day. (technically supposed to be in uniform, but at least he kept his shirt tucked in.)

YouTube: A magical land where I start off watching videos of how to train a dog (in order to prepare for adopting one next month) and after a while end up watching videos on mongooses attacking cobras.

Sometimes in this land, I wonder "How did I get here?" Those rascally "related videos" just take you from one place to the next until you're very far from what you were originally researching.

I have become my own nag -

I got home from church looking forward to a nap, but said "You really need to get that oil changed!" So I did that instead.

While out, I was tempted to get a burger, but I said, "No. You have leftovers in the fridge. It is healthier and more economical."

Thinking about flopping down on the couch for a while, my inner nag said, "You can relax once you get the laundry in the wash!"

Looking forward to my dessert of apple crisp and ice cream, I told myself, "You do realize that you should eat a healthy dinner first, mister! And that includes salad!" So I am having leftover curried chicken, couscous, and a green salad.

What's wrong with me? Could it be that I am growing up? Gosh, I hope not...

Ugh.

Tonight was youth service. Everything run by the youth, including music. I know they will get better. I can prove from past case histories that they will get better. Most of the people at church didn't even mind much how they sounded. But I am a music nerd and... just... ugh.

I know how that goes. Though I'm only 17 (not for much longer) I've always had an ear for music and have been (close to) pitch perfect for a while now. The praise and worship team for Sunday mornings and youth group is both ran by the youth group, mostly due to limited resources. I play guitar but don't sing (for personal reasons) and while the singers we do have on stage are okay, they're not GREAT. I've really learned a lot about patience through it. But being a music nerd and really KNOWING music, it can be hard.

Okay so I've been feeling kind of needy lately.
And I have been thinking about purchasing a guitar as well.

So I finally made a guitar purchase!
A Yahama FG700S


Small neck, because I have small hands and short arms. hahahaha.

So yeah. I guess I will have something to do now when I'm bored.
and it also comes with a free ukulele! haha

So guitar & ukulele.
I am going to be the coolest girl in town, well no not really. I'm actually kind of lame and I don't know how to play yet :D

I just read about the events that triggered arwen to leave. NOT COOL! Just, NOT COOL!

This is the only place where we all can bear our souls and to write off somebody like that is JUST NOT COOL.
