Attended the Thrive concert last night. It was amazing! Best night I've had in a very, very long time. Lots of tears, laughter, singing and dancing. :)

Writing books is for people with like...self-discipline...and um...time? and some other stuff like ideas and ability :p

...oh what the heck, I'll prolly try to write a book before I die. Try again, I mean. Eventually.
 
Could not stand being in the house yesterday and went out a females dream day and man possible nightmare......Shopping to start with, then visited a friend and delivered requested item and mail, off to lunch out on the beach, a walk across the street with blanket, reading material and bf, spread blanket on the sand watched waves coming in from the Gulf of Mexico, got feet wet with bf, sat and read Bible talked with Dad a bit, relaxed in the sun and rested listening to waves. A quick stop at grocery store as headed home.....cleared mind and happy heart.
 
I really hate having no resolution to a conflict with someone. To just stop talking and not be at peace. To not be able to make things right. It's so wrong. So unscriptural. So tragic. God...please bring healing. Somehow. Show me. Lead me.

well... some of us kewl people have our settings on 40 entries/posts per page. some (the default) i believe, have only 20.

i too, am on page 600.


... and that, my friend, is how babies are born. ; p

If you have LESS showing on each page, shouldn't that mean you'd have MORE pages??

On slow CC days I change my settings to 5 posts per page, thus giving the allusion that I have more posts to read. :cool:
 
Hmm... for some reason we're low on "This holiday is EEEEEVIL!!!!" threads. Scanning the Bible Discussions forum I didn't see one single thread about halloween on the first page list. Nothing about Christmas either. There was one thread about Christmas being pagan, but that was weeks old.

I'm sure not about to start any of them, but it looks like we're not gonna meet quota this year.
 
Speaking of which, Sonic is selling corn dogs for fifty cents all day. Just so you know. Go do something unhealthy, you know you want to.

I got one, not because I like corn dogs but because it was fifty cents. Sometimes I don't understand me.
 
I think I'm going to make Chinese food tonight. Well, no, not really, because the chicken I have is American. And the rice might be too.

So I guess I'm going to try to make American food immitate Chinese food.

Chickens haven't got any rights at all. I have no idea why my brain jumped over here, unless it was some super quick thought about dressing up dead chicken as something else on Halloween...how do I know the chicken would've wanted to celebrate Halloween? How do I know what the chicken's religious beliefs were during its feathery little life? Maybe the chicken was allergic to soy sauce, maybe it was diabetic or...or...

Maybe the chicken didn't like Chinese food and would feel really insulted if I tried to serve him as such.

If that's the kind of chicken I have in my freezer, maybe I don't want to eat it after all, not with all those chicken issues it had when it was alive.

Oh, dang, I should probably get that out of the freezer if I'm going to make dinner with it.

They said we can dress up for work today (you know it being Halloween and all)..
They told me that religious characters weren't allowed, so I may just wear jeans.
That sounds completely opposite to Jesus right?
Haha.

I think I'll just wear my uniform. :p
