So, ever since my bank caught fraudulent use of my debit card a couple of months ago my wife and I have been vigilant in checking our account online daily. Today we found three charges that were unknown to either of us and after talking with the bank trying to determine where the charges originated found out that all three of them were online purchases off of my new card. Fortunately the bank will block all three charges so I'm not out any money but it's unnerving that somehow I have been the victim of this twice in only a couple of months!!!!
I remember years ago when debit cards were pretty new everyone thought they were a great thing because it meant you didn't have to carry cash and risk losing money due to theft, it seems to me that going back to carrying cash might be the better thing.
GAAAAAAAAAGHHGH!!!!!!!!

Sometimes people treat me like an 'agony aunt'. But I am not a woman!![]()
what's an "agony aunt"?
wait... you're not a woman?!?
Roh_Chris, here in the states it's referred to as a "Dear Abbey" after a popular syndicated newspaper column where people write in to "Abbey" and she responds with advice. The letters to "Abbey" traditionally start out "Dear Abbey." Hence the column name.
If you are a "Dear Abbey" then people really like to talk to you about their troubles. Possibly to get advice, but probably just because they like to complain.![]()
Hey, Glitch was my favorite character in Reboot.
