true, but i didn't read any of the replies... except the last one before mine. it included the OP in a quote.

i never read hundreds of futile arguments in the bible discussion forum... let alone hundreds or more even in other forum categories. i think somewhere around 37 replies is my limit, and that's if i'm at least moderately interested.

Yes, Israel did fire rockets. Yes, innocent people were killed.

But one must ask,"Why would Israel not fire their rockets when they are being fired upon?"

Tell me, if I came to your neighborhood, and set up a bazooka across the street from you and began firing shells around your house, would you just turn your head and allow me to destroy your home and property? Or would you find your weapon and begin firing back?

Israel is being fired upon and they have every right to defend themselves in any manner they seem fitting.

Yes, innocent people were killed. But whose fault is that when Hamas is using those people as human shields? Whose fault is it when Israel gave advanced warning that they would fire back. Whose fault is it when Israel issued a statement saying if Hamas ceased fire they would not fire themselves?

The blame is not upon Israel. It is upon the cowardly Hamas who place their rockets near schools and hospitals. The fault is upon Hamas who use innocent civilians as shields.

I continue to pray for Israel's safety in this current conflict.

The problem is Israel is that after this war is over and before it began, Israel was and will continue to steal land that belongs to Palestinians.

You act like Israel is only defending itself, but the opposite is true -- Palestine is the one in need of defense.
