Independent strong personality most guys don't care too much for that. This was not by choice I was orphaned by age 12 so had to be independent and strong.
I suppose not really looking keeps me single too. If it ever changes I am o.k. with a change but not actively seeking that change. God knows what is best for me anyway I am not an unhappy single I am o.k. with it.

Me too... I am still single at my age(40), old already... I don't know. Maybe God is so jealous everytime got a BF, online and offline, we separate ways.

Well, when I was young I was a bookish kid who didn't fit in with the prevailing culture. It was hard for me to develop friendships of any sort. During the "best" years of my life I was a cynical, burned-out workaholic. I was also helping to take care of elderly parents. I had some relationships that failed and that just reinforced my isolation. So now I am just a little bit wiser but a lot older. It is not so much that I never found the right woman. It is more that I have evidently never been the right man.

I never give up so easily. But I don't know with those men that I was involved with in the past...
If you are always "left" they probably had their reasons... Now on you surely know more from people and their intentions. Sometimes they left (you) but they also are at the same level or risk of being left: Those lessons are free to learn.
