so, as some of you know, i live in this guest cottage on a property that has one main house. the occupants of the main house are four college guys whom i have a friendly relationship with. they've lived there for almost a year now, and every time they have a little soiree, they try to convince me to come, in which i always respond with "sorry, i'm busy, next time for sure!" or some approximation of that.

well, earlier this week, in some state of delusion, i agreed to make an appearance. we'll see about that.

judging by the preparations going on over there, i don't think this is going to be a quiet little bbq.

hmmmm. i should probably go locate my earplugs too--i have a feeling i'll need them to sleep tonight.

​Pretty sure I need to start a project that serves no real purpose other than to keep my mind occupied for a while.

I seem to do that all the time! Yet I never finish anything, I always move on to do something else to keep my mind busy.

I do that often, or i'll say yes without thinking and try to back out. The BBQ sounds OK tho, go make an appearance then say you have a Skype chat with a friend from England :)
