Revelation 1:
9 I, John, your brother and partner in the tribulationand the kingdom and the patient endurance that are in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos on account of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.

8 “And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write: ‘The words of the first and the last, who died and came to life.
9 “‘I know your tribulation and your poverty (but you are rich) and the slander[a] of those who say that they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.

If you are talking people answer is NO NEVER.
But if you are talking about the church going through tribulation that is not Jesus beating His wife the church - Jesus said and low I am with you always even to the end of the world. Jesus took the beating for His church when He died on the cross.
The tribulation will be a cake walk with Jesus by our side. I am not saying the time of trouble will be easy but I will have peace in my heart knowing my Lord and Savior is by my side.
