Just a note if you try to impress the ladies with fast driving and/or generally dumb things while driving...it usually doesn't work. I may or may not know this from experience.

actually, unlike other people. I can actually do 60+ on a snow/ice covered road. and take the corner sliding and NOT crash...

Finally left alone for a few minutes...except all these chickens. And cats. And cows. And dogs. And horses. Good heavens, and ducks too.
*sigh* I'm surrounded.

or perhaps God has been rather good to you in this way.

or maybe you don't experience the regularly treacherous driving conditions of a mountainous state.

even the better drivers of mountainous states, many of whom i consider the best drivers in such conditions, (simply through experience), fall prey to one of the variables that driving in such hazardous conditions involves.

The things my brain does sometimes....sometimes when I type I go on auto-pilot and I don't pay any attention to what I'm actually typing.
Right now, I'm typing out a list of different foods I should have at my graduation party, and I have all of these different things on there, and then I thought, "Chips and salsa! People love chips and salsa, and it gives everyone a good variety so if they don't like some of the things that are here they can get something else that they DO like." and I ended up typing in my list "Chips and sausage." ...Really, brain? Sausage? I seriously don't even know where that came from! It just happened...I wasn't even thinking about sausage. It's like my brain has auto-correct installed in there. ...How do I turn it off?

The same thing happens to me with people's names. I sometimes have to make sure I say their name over and over in my head before addressing them, so I get their name right. When I do, I still often call them by the wrong name! Why must my brain sabotage me?

By the way...I clicked "like" on this because of what you said, not cuz you wrecked.
...I kinda felt like a jerk, so I clarified.

I've done that a few times. Like, I have two sisters and once or twice I've called them by the others' name. Or calling my dog by the wrong name, especially when I'm frustrated with them.

FWIW everyone, The picture above ISN'T my car, it's a picture I found on the interwebs to prove my point.

Sorry for any confusion, although thank you for your concern for my well being, albeit unneeded.

Okay computer peeps. The place where I plug in my headphones on my laptop is loose...what can I do to fix that? Is there a way to fix it? This computer runs perfectly beyond a loose headphone input.

Randomness from iTORE chapter 57

I was outside just sitting this morning..thinking about life in general & yet about nothing at all, when I noticed out of the corner of my eye a small car pull into the parking lot near where I was,but they pulling right behind all the other cars,so if someone needed to get out they would be blocked in. This little tiny woman (maybe in her early 60's) with a sun hat, gets out of the car,and starts walking in my direction. I thought maybe she was taking an alternate route into the side door of the diner, but no,she was in fact heading towards me.

She comes up to me & hands me a little booklet that says Our Daily Bread on it,and introduced herself as "Pam",shakes my hand, and asks if I need a ride anywhere, and I was like laughing, saying,"no,I'm fine..I live right there" pointing to above to diner...and she was like "Ohhh,ok...well I just had to ask you if you knew Jesus?" I laughed & smiled at her & said,"Well,yeah...I'm a Christian actually." Then she gave me this huge hug and was like,"Ohh that was easy..you made my day!"..then gave me like 2 move hugs & a kiss on the cheek before she left & as she drove away said she had to head home & mow the lawn.

Apparently, after all these years, even with semi-normal hair & not dressed all in black,I still look really unsaved or diabolical. LOL I haven't had anyone try to witness to me or hand me a bible tract in eons. lol She seemed kinda sweet. I'm just not used to random strangers coming up to me anymore. When I was in Maine I had to build a sort of invisible force field around me to keep the crazy people at bay,and for the most part it worked. Not very Christ-like to say the least, and I'm not proud of it. I feel bad that I've become a bit of a social snob in the sense that I really have to force myself to say hi to people if I pass by them,or just be open...does that make sense???

Yeah well,anyways...rambling.
