Last night on my way home, it was late, the sky was so clear n' a full moon lightning this darkness. Very nice. Although it was cold I stood there for few minutes looking at the moon n' talking to God. :o

Rachel, I see exactly what you mean. People might not ask us direct questions about our faith, but maybe they are talking about something related to our faith n' sometimes I myself won't comment for that same reason you've mentioned. As a matter of fact, yesterday at bible study we were talking about how do we talk about Christ or about our faith among none Christians without intimidating them or making them uncomfortable, but at the same time, still use our talents to preach God's word whenever we are given the chance to. And the Priest suggested that we make it naturally, with a nice humble smile simply say our opinions in a graceful loving way. Others shouldn't get offended because first, we didn't offend them, we just softly saying our own opinion, it also says that we have our own personality. Second, we are not judging anybody, we are simply saying what WE think. Third, think about it that way, why is it ok to freely talk about other religions and not talk about Christ or the Christian faith?? During bible study we discussed the parable of the Minas in Luke 19 that basically says that God gave everyone number of talents and He's expecting us to use those talents and multiply it because in the parable God punished the one who took the minas and just hide it n' did nothing with it. :)

I'd rather just ignore things at work, laugh off discussionis or questions, than say what I really think and risk making things uncomfortable and awkward between my coworkers and I. Perhaps it's only a perceived notion that it would make things awkward when in reality maybe they wouldn't care, but I find it hard to take the risk so far.

There's a certain balance. It's like I know they aren't Christians so I can't expect them to act like it, but I need to be more bold.

Edited to add: They don't ask questions about my faith. If they did, I would answer honestly and boldly. But in other areas that they talk about, I have opportunities I could use to talk about it or what I believe, and I don't.

Man, I'm SO HAPPY right now. Got some great news today. :) They weren't about Mom, we'll get that news tomorrow, but we got some other great news that is definitely big. It's something we've been really praying about and God MOVED, I tell ya!

If I can keep it in I'll tell you guys tonight when y'all come into Singles.

I'm feeling better, thanks Nev! I'm about to take a nap, which will help even more. Spring is always a busy time for me, with quite a few events that I plan, work or coordinate all coming to a head. Too many irons in the fire sometimes!

I'm happy for you Lil! (Why, I don't know, but still... haha.) I don't know if I'll be able to chat tonight, but maybe I can bug Big Mouth up there into sharing the news with me. ;)

Yeah...a lot has been going on today to be honest. Man, today God was like, "LET'S GOOO!" and I was like "Yeah, uh....let's not?" ...Yeah, that didn't really work. I wonder some days if God just looks at me, facepalms and says, "Would it KILL you to say yes and just do once in a while??"
 
I'm so happy for you LittleC. And you made me laugh saying "Would it KILL you to say yes and just do once in a while??" :D

Just be careful because the more we resist God the harder we make things for ourselves. It's like God's people when they kept resisting God, it took them 44 years to get to their land when instead it could have taken them A LOT less than that!! Also when we keep resisting God, because He loves us so much, He doesn't want us to perish or hurt ourselves, so He will keep on sending us His message over and over again, which will take us forever to learn God's lesson for us and sometimes our hard times stretched because we are still in the learning process. :)
