On a completely separate note, I quit coffee recently. And Starbucks sent me an e-mail about their new Vanilla Macchiato. It. Looks. AMAAZZIINNNGG. Oh well. I wanted to quit for just one month. No, not for Lent. Just because. I forgot about Lent until people started mentioning it on Facebook.

It's been a um...interesting...time, lately.
All settled into my apartment.
My son figured out how to call people on my cell phone early in the morning.
Sometimes I wake up to a kid eating large amounts of chocolate, or else a plunger in the middle of the living room.
On a more serious note, I will be getting the papers to file for divorce and this weekend, discussing fun things like custody and splitting of money/property.
So anyway, here I am, disappearing indefinitely again...

Glad it was caught early enough to give antibiotics to cure it without surgery, my mother had to have the surgery.

We have a bird feeder outside our window on the side of the house. The cats love to watch the birds come. But, that means we also have squirrels who are pigs and want to eat everything and keep the birds away. We've tried putting things around the pole of it, but the snow is so high that they can pretty much just jump up onto it.
So, sometimes I'll bang on the window to get them to run, but that doesn't always work. Something that does work but makes me feel crazy is to slightly open the window and bark like a big dog at them. It sounds like a bloodhound, ha.

They have a coffee-chocolate bar. You guys have NOOOO idea how excited this makes me. lol It'll be exciting when this month is over and I decide having coffee is okay again. I haven't gone more than a month without coffee for a while now. So yeah. Decided it might be good for me.

Although, we also put some seed up on the windowsill, in hopes that the birds would come right up to the window. However, it is the squirrels that come and sit against the glass and eat the seed. The cats go crazy trying to paw at them and get them. The squirrels will look directly at them, and it's like they know and tease them. We took the screen out of that particular window, so my dad and I have both had the opportunity to slowly open the window and reach out and briefly pet the squirrel before it runs away. Probably not the smartest idea, but their first reaction is to run, not bite.
So, I guess we can't have it both ways, of wanting them gone but wanting them to come up to the window.

Hello homwardbound, I don't disagree with loving our enemies or guiding those whom we think are trolls. I even disagree with judging others saying they are trolls or no trolls, because that's irrelevant from my point of view. HOWEVER, one has to have this wisdom of when to stop talking n' when to say something. And what should be said and should not be said. We have to have this ability to see if the person we are talking to is open to listen or they're here only to argue, which means their heart n' mind are not ready yet to hear the word. So what we do is we did put the seed n' leave it up to God to continue at His own time. All of this is a gift from God who gives us with generosity His grace n' wisdom if we ask for them.
We can only guide people, we cannot change them. God is the only one who is able to change n' make from the rocks children for Abraham. So that's what I meant by my post to 1stStill_water. God bless.

Thanks to ALL who prayed for me! You guys are my lovely prayer warriors!! Today, which is right next day God showed me clear sign that He's there listening and working on it!! Things are not confirmed yet, that's why I'm being vague about it. But I'll make sure to keep you posted n' I want you all to know that I pray for each n' everyone of you when you need a prayer, even if you don't ask me to.
But I was never going to kill it.
If my only concern was leaving evidence behind, that bunny would be dead. I would have suffocated it in a plastic... oh no, I'm doing it again.
