no, but i know you have a dog! mine starts on one end of the couch and competing for my lap before long.
towards the end of this week, i'm going to be fostering two golden retriever puppies for someone who raises dogs for the deaf school. i can't begin to tell you how excited i am for cuddly puppies during the cold spell.

If I was locked in a Prison like Paul and Silas, all the repetitive Jesus is my Boyfriend stuff, would be the last thing I would sing.
Also hymns are not Ye Olden Ancient Sea Chantey Music for Christians of aged persuasion. In Christ Alone is a great song, and a great Hymn too.
I would like to see more of that.

i learned to play piano from my grandmother playing her favorite music. fannie crosby hymns mostly.

I like a variety of music, but there is something special about many of the classic hymns. When I sing them, it feels like all of heaven is worshiping with me. I can almost hear the choir of saints harmonizing in the verses of "Abide with Me" or the chorus of "It Is Well." Not only praising my Savior, I feel closer to my sister, my grandparents, my baby—those who have entered eternity before me.

I was kidding, really, here, stilledwater. I didn't think Denver was all that bad, just that Seattle was all that good.
I don't agree that Denver was 'embarrassed,' as, The Denver Post said, and, there was a mallard reference with 'Manning' attached that one writer included in his story. I just think that was classless, the best QB of all time, he chooses to come to your city, sets all the NFL passing records, points scored leader, and, treat him like that after game. Made no sense to me. Manning IS the greatest QB of all time, or, maybe, 2nd on the list, and, this game's performance did NOT change that fact one bit. Just was embarrassing that the sportswriter for the Post, and, maybe, other writers, lambasted Denver and Manning after the game when they should have talked about Denver's success this season and the blame for Manning's 2 INT, more than anything else, was from the Seahawks being so good pressuring him, which, if anything, puts onus on the offensive line that did not protect him .

statistically, seahawks always held the edge. previous to this SB, there have been four other times where the team with the best defense played against the team with best offense. three out of four of those matchups resulted in the team with the best defense taking the trophy.
or as my dad says, youth/speed almost always beats experience, unfortunately. however, i have no stats on that. : )

I don't enjoy most hymns but these are some of my absolute favourites. The hymns that have lasted have strong lyrics but the language is often very old school (as a child, when I visited relatives in the country, I would sometimes challenge myself to find the oldest hymn in the hymnal. The oldest I found was from 920AD!) Because of this language, I sometimes found/find them difficult to understand (I don't do well with the KJV or Shakespeare either). As for the organ! I can't stand that instrument - except in the theatre production of The Phantom of the Opera.

Got a ticket in Vancouver for J walking!!!
If they gave out tickets here for J walking, my city would have no financial problems! But they don't do that here, I know it's illegal but they don't bother. So many people here cross in the middle of the street, cross on the green light. So I know they'd do nothing else all day, lol.
yeah, they're mostly supplementing their budget here with traffic violations. meanwhile, you can walk down main street smoking a joint and they will say nothing. sometimes i think i'm the only one here who isn't under the influence. a week ago, i took a meeting with a client at his (private, small) business. he pulled out a joint and asked me if i minded. i was speechless.
and that's saying something.

Oh, they don't do this here in Toronto either. But I don't know about Vancouver, I've never been.
But guess what Fenner? I was gonna pay a fine of $300 dollars for crossing the road from the wrong side simply because a Police car had to stop for me to cross and I didn't see it's a Police car, so he stopped me!! But I talked myself out of it Kept saying I didn't know bla bla bla n' he was nice at the end didn't give me the ticket
