If any make Israel, the Talmud or the Jews as a reference point to criticize or speak evil of, that is idolatry. It is idolatry because of the images and imaginations of the heart within that frame of reference. Many do not believe that Christ is coming back for his church prior to God's dealing with Israel during the tribulation because of imaginations within their frame of reference that have developed into strongholds in their faith. They have lusted after knowledge of the truth through a wounded spirit and have been subverted in their thinking and comprehension of what the scriptures teach. They are vehemently opposed to anyone who contradicts their frame of reference and immediately labels it heretical. They have made their frame of reference an idol that they worship and submit to. This form of idolatry makes them defensive, critical and cruel to others by dominating and bullying others to their frame of reference. The Spirit of God is not involved in this activity, it does not edify other believers in the church nor does it magnify Christ in the will of God. They are being held captive by this stronghold and they wrestle with it all the time. We are not to be caught up in this frame of reference that only leads to flesh and blood activity. To flee idolatry means to separate ourselves from it by going in the opposite direction so that we do not get held captive by our carnal responses to it. To pull down this stronghold we submerse ourselves in the truth that we have been taught and continually build up ourselves and others always looking unto the author and finisher of our faith.
