I use KJV and strong's concordance. But here's something that can drive you thinking. What about 1 john 2:4 1 john 5:3 1 john 2:3, luke 16:17, matthew 5:17-19, and romans 3:31, romans 6:15, revelation 14:12-13, 1 john 3:8, 1 john 3:4... You are outnumbered. I already see your determination to fight against God's commandments. That law is holy and just and good, and James said "so speak ye, and so do ye, as they that shall be juges by the law of liberty."- james 2:12
romans 6:15 and romans 3:31 are very plain for me. So is matthew 7 and its link with 1 john 2:4 and 1 john 3:4
I sense no love in your posts my friend, be careful because I have met many people who know the bible very well but focus far too much on the commandments and traditions than God himself. You can know all the scripture you can handle yet not have a relationship with God. even the devil does this. I do not know you well enough to know where your heart truly lies but if you can show me different then I will commend you for it and may enjoy talking with you

There are many identifying signs or marks of the Beast system. Christmas, Easter, Halloween, Sunday, the Cross, you name it and they are there. But of two I really know that stand out are Sunday and the Cross.

I never said i am perfect by my own power. But i will reach perfection in Christ. Christ promised that. You deny it. I don't. "Be ye therefore perfect even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect."
let's keep it simple.

could you please show me Jesus in these passages, and you in these passages?

Hebrews 10:10
then He said, "BEHOLD, I HAVE COME TO DO YOUR WILL." He takes away the first in order to establish the second. 10 By this will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Hebrews 10:14
For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified.

......

1) then He said, "BEHOLD, I HAVE COME TO DO YOUR WILL." <<<< By this will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Who did Who's Will?
what is the result?

2) For by one offering He <<<<JESUS has perfected for all time those who are sanctified.

Who did something Once for All time?
what is the result?

Sunday is the tradition, and not the Sabbath! Perfection is the ten commandments. Sin is evil and sin is breaking God's law.
In which case we all fall short as not one man on earth can keep the commandments. Jesus died on the cross to free us from the chains of falling short, now how do you think he wants us to spend our time in return?

Woah..what the heck is going on in these threads?!?!?!?!?!

The Cross is a sign of the mark of the beast?!?!?!?

I'm going to attempt to just give you the benefit of the doubt...what Cross in particular are you refering to when you say the Cross is an identifying mark or sign of the beast?

Friend,
As you have seen i never said i am not a sinner. But i don't only accept that testimony of Scripture and deny the others. Like romans 6:15. How can bible preachers and pastors tell you it's okay to break God's law? Just a verse like romans 3:31 alone. They say you have faith, you ain't under the law. These two verses, are they not testifying that this sin-okay doctrine is of the devil?
Plus i want to show you something. If it matters to God about His commandments, then i do no wrong here at all... Remember it mattered to God about the forbidden tree. Don't you love God? By that answer you posted me, i can say yes you do. Well the Bible tells you what loving God is: "for this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments."- 1 john 5:3
Think about that verse only. Loving God is obeying God! You can't say i love God and easily say sin-okay. Now perhaps this made you see?

Hello freeman4,

Yes sunday is the mark of the beast. As for the cross, you mean the sign of the cross that they make on their bodies? I don't say this is what is mentioned in the Bible prophecy. Because in Revelation 14:12 the saints opposite to the wicked are defined as having faith of Jesus and keeping His commandments.

A Seventh Day Remnant Ministry

#12. The seventh day of the week, known today as Saturday, is the eternal sign of Christ's power as Creator, Sanctifier, and Redeemer and is, therefore, the Lord's day; the true Christian Sabbath, constituting the seal of the living God. It is observed from sunset Friday to sunset Saturday. (Gen. 2:1-3; Ex. 16:24-31; 20:8-11; John 1:1-3,14; Eze. 20:12,20; Mark 1:21-32; 2:27,28; Isa. 58:13; Luke 4:16; 23:54-56; 24:1; Acts 17:2; Heb. 4:9-11; Isa. 66:22,23; Lev. 23:32; Rev. 7:1-8)

Statement of Faith < click

uh...no.

Ephesians 1:13
And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit

Ephesians 4:30
And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

....

ONCE AGAIN, THE WARNING FOR YOU WHO WILL NOT ENTER INTO THE NEW COVENANT IN CHRIST'S BLOOD, WITH THE SEAL BEING THE HOLY SPIRIT:

Hebrews 10:29
How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?

It is never OK to sin. I never said it was. I do not advocate sinning, I never have and no one here is saying it is OK to not keep the commandments.

Yet SDA's only post about keeping commandments, it is not wrong to say that but it is only one part of the gospel message. The law is based on love not guilt. How can you post about law and not love? How can you chronically post about keeping the commandments and never mention the free gift of salvation and forgiveness of sins?

This is why Seventh Day Adventists teach a lopsided message, a skewed message that places a singular emphasis on keeping the law. I find that offensive because you never mention the most important part of the bible--Jesus died on the cross to set me free from a devastating penalty. There is no "good news" in mentioning the commandments or law. The "good news" is that by grace we have been saved thru faith and that, not of ourselves. You mention every passage you can about commandments and never even mention John 3:16!?!?! That seriously offends me. The greatest gift mankind has is the shed blood of Jesus on the cross that we can all be forgiven and saved from Hell.

Seriously, Seventh Day Adventists always say:

Keep the commandments...
Keep the commandments...
Keep the commandments...
Keep the commandments...
Keep the commandments...
Keep the commandments...
Keep the commandments...

..and never point people to the cross!
That is offensive to me!

..and claiming that Sunday church attendance is the mark of the beast is just lunacy.

The way I see it is that we are to follow the law and try not to sin but not out of fear but because we love him. We will mess up but how we handle it is what matters. I have trouble with three of the commandments the most but I ask for forgiveness and pray he helps me to overcome them and I keep moving forward. Keeping the commandments goes deeper than people know, the commandments are fruit of the spirit. However, we are not to focus so much on sin and the commandments but rather seek the Lords hearts with all our hearts. then everything else will fall into place. This is why I do not make threads about the law or sin but rather threads on how deeply the lord cares for us and how love is the most important gift of the spirit. I am a christian of love, I am not wise, not do i have great insight or is my faith strong. But if there is one thing I know is Love

Just really gonna bump this again cause I think this is hugely important to these type of threads and well christianity as a whole.

Why exactly did you lump the Cross in with the signs and mark of the beast....

I really want a grasp on what Cross you are speaking of and what you mean here, I think this is really a showstopper and needs to be addressed.

That's because they are still carrying a cross as heavy as Ebenezer Scrooge's chain were in Dicken's 'A Christmas Carol' that the long gone false teachers and false prophets that built the SDA cult constructed for them.

A number of them finally figured out that just setting the heavy man made false cross aside and taking up Jesus's uber-light yoke produces exactly the desirable results God intended for them.

that is because they are not a church that preaches the gospel...they preach salvation by works...it is obvious even though they deny it...

I figured to mention it, because if i am not going to tell them about keeping the commandments who is going to? The doctrines lurk around that you are free from your obedience.
If i don't hint a bit, how are they gonna know that they also have to keep the commandments. But i love it now that you say you do your best out of love to God! Yeah i want to obey God because of my love for Him too! Jesus does not like sin, so He does not want me to sin. So out of love for Him, i don't want to do that too!
I am happy you even understand that you keep the commandments out of love for God!
By the way I am not SDA.

Again I ask, what commandments are we to keep?
Jesus said the law He did not come to destroy, while ephesians 2:15 says that the ceremonial laws are abolished. So the law left is the ten commandments. John also says sin is the transgression of God's law, and since ceremonial laws are abolished he is not speaking about them.
Decalogue was from the foundation of the world. Before there was a moses, it was recorded of abraham that he kept the Decalogue.
