This is almost teetering on old metal..that guitar riff is totally off of something you'd hear on Destruction's 1st album Sentence of Death.

If you look at the progression of punk though. hardcore punk. you see that it is pretty rooted in anarcho with an American hardcore twist. This is the d.i.y. hardcore thrash scene that many people don't know about.
