What's your take on burrito's?
I have never had a burrito..

I live in Australia and here we never had an influx of Latino / Hispanic immigrants.. So you will not find a lot of central or south American foods here... We do have a very recent and very small immigrant community from that area, but no where near enough to influence Australian food culture..

Our old food culture has been influenced by where Australia's immigrants have been coming from in the last 50 years.. From countries like..

Greece
Italy
The nations of the former Yugoslavia
Lebanon
Vietnam
Cambodia
Poland
Hungary
South pacific Islander people
Chinese
Indian

There are way more Thai restaurants even though the Thai population is very very small in Australia because because a lot of Australians have traveled to Thailand and experienced their foods so there is a demand for it here..

PS: The food that looks kind of like these taco's but is different is the Lebanese Kebab.. I do enjoy a well done Kebab every now and then..

This place is one reason why so many americans know what tacos are. It's how I found out myself lol. They have so many of these stores here. The company is owned by Pepsi.

Its just like that, but it comes in a taco shell instead of a wrap: :)

(When it comes in a wrap its usually called a burrito) :sneaky:
Actually..MOST tacos originally dont come in a hard shell..more corn or floir tortilla and usually no grpund beef like i was rasised..more pulled pork or chicken for authenticity

Oh yea we have many mexican restaurants here and like half the people here are mexican, but people usually only go to them occasionally. Taco bell is cheap so everyone gets their tacos from there lol. I actually bought 2 tacos today and the price went up. I hadn't bought from taco bell in a long time and they're basic taco used to be a dollar. Now its $1.50.
