My sin was atoned for when I believed the gospel. Since that time I continue to follow the Lord in the Spirit to keep sin dead.
Oh really .... so then you must call to mind every sin following your "belief" and ask for forgiveness so good luck with that also.

Like I stated Jesus only offers the gift of... "eternal life"... what do you believe in Him for exactly... "conditional eternal life"...... those are not His words and a complete oxymoron.

I know you didn’t say that calm down.....I asked a question...maybe EG can answer it......you need a break my dear....you are seeing something that isn’t there.
As Paul said in romans. Our flesh is still there. The fact we do
Not trust God 100% in all areas of our lives means we will still fail. And when we do it is sin

I am quite aware of my situation: In perfect peace having my mind stayed on the LORD.
Your peace is in self not God

If you were in Christ. You would not be excusing your sin you would be praising god for his grace

Mark 10:30 KJVS
[30] But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

What you receive in THIS time is not eternal life.

Eternal life will be realized in the world to come for those that endure to the end.

Only those who do not believe the gospel or fail to continue grounded and settled are in danger.
Only people who do not have eternal life are in danger

The fact is. If Christ did not die for future sin we all are in danger

Jesus' death made forgiveness available for all men. When a person believes all their past sins are forgiven. For the believer any sins they commit are forgiven ongoingly because they are trusting in the shed blood of Jesus Christ. No need for any sort of "future" forgiveness for the one who is believing in Jesus Christ.

Wrong again.

Eternal life is written in both the present and future tense.

The following Scriptures seem to indicate that eternal life is a present, actual possession. Notice the present tense verbs.

John 3:36. "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see

life . . . ."

Don't forget Johns other wors of wisdom

How he wrote these things so we may know we HAVE eternal life.

Repent of the lie you told about me.

My peace is in God, not myself.

I resent that!
Your peace is in self. And your ability to remain sinless. Not God my friend.. You can deny it all you want. I will never believe you
