I'm listening, although, I'm listening more intently here. May I suggest that you do not use that LIGHT GRAY color fold your letters, as it is EXTREMELY hard to read. Here is an example, with the colors that used. John 1:1 (YLT) 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God; Thanks for the memories of Windows 3.11 days.
That is darker gray is: {COLOR=#797D7F] with the brackets on the left lower case, you close it with {/COLOR] with the brackets on the left in lower case.''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' Here is Blue: {COLOR=#0000FF] that is four zeros on the Left.''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' Here is a pretty good color for the RED LETTER in the Bible: {COLOR=#922B21].'''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' Purple is: {COLOR=#6C3483].'''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' Magenta: {COLOR=#FF5733].''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' Green: {COLOR=#008000].

I am reading your posts and they are making valid points.
Just a heads up, Ben. Read all of them. He has some very unorthodox, even cultist beliefs.

According to REV. 14:13 & REV. 20:12 after "The Great Tribulation" from that time until the end their works will go with them.
Those who are in the 1st resurrection are blessed, but those who are among the 2nd resurrection suffer the 2nd DEATH!

I can already tell, this guy is gonna be interesting. :D

The accusation of pride, shown as false by Pauls declaration of Gods work in him.

You are witnesses, and so is God, of how holy, righteous and blameless we were among you who believed.
For you know that we dealt with each of you as a father deals with his own children,
encouraging, comforting and urging you to live lives worthy of God, who calls you into his kingdom and glory.
1 Thessalonians 2:10-12

We can take pride, literally, in the work God has done in our hearts to His praise.

Each one should test his own actions. Then he can take pride in himself, without comparing himself to somebody else,
for each one should carry his own load.
Galatians 6:4-5

Pride is not evil, it is pride in the wrong things that is the mistake.

I have great confidence in you; I take great pride in you. I am greatly encouraged; in all our troubles my joy knows no bounds.
2 Corinthians 7:4

Now so many hate these principles that are throughout scripture, because it tells
them they have got something wrong. The test when this happens is will we humble
ourselves or stay in our delusion.

God forces no one in the Kingdom, He gives us choice. This is how humble He is,
Praise His name.

I'll agree with that. But once one chooses Jesus, that choice is irrevocable.

All right, thanks. In these particular posts it just seems like he is emphasizing a changed life of overcoming sin and I believe that is an important conversation to have. I think we all agree upon holiness and righteousness but disagree upon the reason for them. Just like many here disagree on how we overcome sin, the method, but have the same desire.

Have no idea what sins he committed, but I'm certain he did. Same as you, and same as me. The Bible says to "be ye perfect even as your heavenly Father is perfect" (Matthew 5:48). We are to be as perfect as God. Are you? If not, you are sinning. The Bible says to "love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, and soul" (Matthew 22:37). Do you do this every second of the day? Then you are sinning.

Unless every single thought in your head, and every single thing you do is absolutely perfect - you are sinning.

Oh. So you didn't see Ralph break God's Law, you just assume that because you reject His Word, Ralph does too.

I don't prescribe to the Mainstream Preaching that Jesus, before He became a man, created instructions so burdensome, so grievous, so unjust that no man can keep them. Then kills tens of thousands of people who didn't keep them. Then came to earth as a man and rejected an entire religion for breaking them, then died to free us from these same instructions.

I think this is a preaching that Jesus warned me to "Take Heed" of.

One sin attributed will damn you. Stop looking to yourself and your works, Ralph. Your lifestyle isn't assurance. The only assurance is the promise of God that if we believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose again to pay the penalty for our sins, we are saved - and can never be lost again.

I do not get it, What part of Johns letter which says a person who lives in sin has never seen God or Known God. Does not not understand?

The sad thing is I understand both views very well.
Christ the gift of His life on the cross brings us into the Kingdom, but does not change
the rules of love and life, and how to live in purity in Christ.

OCD self condemners need to know freedom in their life, because the sin in their hearts
is around carrying a burden of self justification.

The other side is of lawlessness and no obligations is equally wrong.
So many can hide in either position and miss the beauty of Jesus.

If you cannot resolve this, in time all one believes will fade away.

What people trapped in your "freedom" is to ignore the obvious calling to obedience
and love which is just rejected, as if this is the world of the enemy.

I am truly free in Christ, knowing purity in the heart is the beginning of the Kingdom.
1st paragraph- " the Cross does not change......" thus is the sad, deceived mind of a works-based mindset- the Cross was not enough, I have to do part to save myself.

sad. dishonest. deceived.

He speaks a lot of those things, which we would all agree with, because we all believe4 in those things. Where the disconnect crones from is why we do those things, and what the root power for doing those things come from.

I don't have to assume that - I know that.

Nobody can keep the Law - not even the Jews to whom it was given. It was designed that way.

Sin is the transgression of the Law. Ralph still sins, hence, Ralph breaks God's Law.

As do I, and as do you.

Jesus is the example of true love, life and purity, whose example we are called to follow.

But here is a member saying I am "sad, dishonest, deceived"

May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus
Romans 15:5

Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus
Philippians 2:5

Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.
1 Corinthians 11:1

This is our calling. What is amazing to me is how readers in their own minds
turn the words to mean something else than they are saying.

If we are not to follow Jesus's example, why are we called to do exactly that
and to be conformed into His likeness?

I know that those who change the words in their minds as they read them, I can
never get through, because they see a different world, one that does not actually
exist, though it appears very very real to them.

And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit

here is a thought- don't put" Christ on the Cross " and then " does not change " in the same sentence. if you do not really think this-don't say or imply it.

once again, all the hyperbole and figurative language is not a good way to try to communicate in a forum like this.

If you knew what sin was, You would never ask this question. Because youy would know he is right, and would not have to name a sin, you would realise we all sin everyday whether we want to admit it or not.
I don't prescribe to much of your preaching EG. The preaching that Jesus, before becoming a man, created instructions so burdensome, so grievous, so many in number that it is impossible to follow, then killed thousands for not following them is false in my understanding. You also preach the Pharisees that Jesus called "children of satan" we trying to earn salvation by following God's Laws and not their own. This also is false. Neither satan, nor its children, are interested in following God's Instructions, rather, they are interested in tricking people into rejecting God's instructions. The whole purpose of satan and its children is not to convince people into obey God's Instructions, but to disobey. Surely you don't deny that.

7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

If God's Instructions were good enough for Jesus, they are good enough for me. Just because you preach it's impossible to "walk as Jesus walked" doesn't make it true.

You are wrong about the Pharisees and their religion. You might consider that you have been led in the wrong direction regarding the instructions Jesus created for man.

God's instructions to us came through the example of Jesus Christ His only begotten Son. Jesus followed those instructions to a tee. He was able to do so because He was the Son. His example has shown us how to live a life pleasing to God. However, He knew we were still in the flesh while on this earth and He knew we could not possibly live 24/7 as perfect as Christ did.

Anyone who says they do are not living in reality.
