In western Canada, we had a very cool summer, which resulted in almost no forest fires, although we got the smoke from
Washington State and Oregon.
It's going to freeze in a couple of days, much earlier than any other years I've lived here. Usually my garden doesn't stop till the end of Nov. All our mountain passes were snowed out this week.
While I understand I'm talking weather, this might be a case of climate getting colder, if it keeps up. I just know we never got into the 40's C, and winter came early!

All the plagues in Revelation 8 and 9 in which 1/3 of earth's environmental resources are destroyed, are attributed to the love mankind has for the things his hands produce (Revelation 9:20). These things mankind loves today are primarily produced through the use of fossil fuels. At the conclusion of the beasts' system, when the Lord commences to reign (Revelation 11:15), who do you think are they who have been destroying the earth whom the Lord shall destroy (Revelation 11:18)?

That's real sweet, but your assumption that I was 'taught' the gospel is not true.
Other than some time spent in church as a child, coloring bible pictures or later flirting with a cute boy in the choir, I'd say that my knowledge of the gospel was about zero. I never went to church after the age of 15. I not only had no interest in religious things but had told my children there was no god. That is the place I came from the day I was born again. Like the prophet Zechariah, I was snatched like a brand from the fire. My first "obedience" was to read the bible cover to cover, before I picked a church to attend. So you see, God does not need to be explained by finite minds, He is able to make the rocks cry out with His message.
No, I do not talk to rocks nor hear message from them.
Other than some time spent in church as a child, coloring bible pictures or later flirting with a cute boy in the choir, I'd say that my knowledge of the gospel was about zero. I never went to church after the age of 15. I not only had no interest in religious things but had told my children there was no god. That is the place I came from the day I was born again. Like the prophet Zechariah, I was snatched like a brand from the fire. My first "obedience" was to read the bible cover to cover, before I picked a church to attend. So you see, God does not need to be explained by finite minds, He is able to make the rocks cry out with His message.

Did you all also know that the Northern hemisphere should now be entering in a new glaciation period, but instead we are heading in the opposite direction?
Over the 500,000 or so years, glaciation events have lasted a little over 100,000 years that were then followed by an interglacial period, lasting on average about 12,000 years. We are now currently 11,700 from the end of the last glacial event, and for nearly the last thousand years the Northern hemisphere had been slowly cooling down. Then circa about 150 years ago (coincidently when the industrial revolution began taking off with lots of coal burning), the cooling trend started reversing course.

If you look at the Pangaea animation and remember where the astronomical structures are found in archeology(Stonehenge,pyramids,Mayan ect.) they are found in places where they could be used to measure the path of astronomical objects in aspect to the distance to the shore that was beside it before Pangaea(continental drift) began.
So if they(those people) were standing on the river banks one day and then the next the water was wider then especially right after the flood in Genesis it would be seen as though the water was rising again. It would be as though one day they could shout to the people on the other shore and then the next day the other shore and those people were farther away. Then day after day it moved farther and farther until they could no longer see it.
Anyway that's what I think,lol. For all it's worth I think that the foundations opened up(Pangaea began dividing) and the water flowed down on to the molten lava and steam went up and it rained for forty days and nights. I think that as much as the rain flooded the earth the masses of land went down into the waters and away from each other quickly at first and then slowed down as time went on. Then after the flood people built the structures we find to try to figure out if the water was coming up or the land itself was moving.
So then if the land was one continent and water covered all of the rest of the planet then the weather would be different than it is now. Because the sun shining on this planet would be one temperature on land and another on land it would change if Pangaea occurred and would still be in it's motion of changing because of continental drift. I said several pages back that the stars show a picture in the sky but if that place you are standing on moved then you would see another picture in the sky.
